Enjoy demonstrations on the covered porch! Eck will demonstrate how he turns multiple colors of clay on the wheel at the same time to create his Agateware. He will also demonstrate the carving techniques he uses to achieve the intricate patterns on his pots. Lots of fans will be employed to circulate the air and keep you cool. Ice cold water and refreshments will be available.
Eck’s sister, Fiva McCanless, will join us. Be sure to check out her booth for some “whimsical and sometimes weird” hand-painted pottery.

Nostalgia Reloaded
Nothing embodies the rock-n-roll spirit like the great American road trip. Whether charting undiscovered highways or just getting the hell out of Dodge; turn up the Radio, thunder down a stretch of open road and watch your troubles disappear in the rearview mirror.
Eck McCanless (guitar/vocals), Jon Baughman (upright bass), and Mark Murphy (drums) bring the energy and vibe of an epic road trip to audiences as The Radio. Set lists include curated covers and fine-tuned originals, taking listeners on a joyride to favorite haunts and destinations unknown.
The band deftly tunes the Radio dial, picking up phantom stations broadcasting roots rock, Americana, traditional country/western, and soul. And like the best road trip music, these songs make you want to boogie down the road and onto the nearest dance floor.
